completing the membership steps, you can start using Medikbase for a trial period
for free. Your free trial period is 14 days. If you decide to pay for a licence
during trial period or following this period, you can proceed with one of our
monthly or annual subscription options.
Will the data I enter during the trial period be deleted when the trial period ends?
No, the data you enter in Medikbase during the trial period will not be deleted.
Even after your trial period ends, you can log in to Medikbase with your same
membership information and continue where you left off with any of our subscription
options.
Can I delete my own patient data?
No actually. Due to medicolegal issues, some of the patient data entered cannot be
changed in some applications since the next day, and in some applications after the
report is given. Therefore, it is not possible to delete your patient by you or
someone else.
Which browser would you recommend using Medikbase with?
We recommend using Medikbase with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on Windows-based
computers and Safari or Google Chrome on Mac computers. We do not recommend using MS
Explorer explicitly, because microsoft support for it is ended. We try to reduce
errors in other browsers, but we do not recommend the using of others at the moment.
In order to use Medikbase, you should also allow javascript codes to run and use
cookies in your browser preference or settings. Also, in order to print reports, you
must give permission to open popups to medikbase.com.
How do I use Medikbase as a single user?
You can use medikbase by purchasing a license for yourself. You can use medikbase as
long as you renew your license by paying. When you do not pay for your license, you
will stop using it. You can start using medikbase again by making your payment at a
later date. You can use Medikbase when you are in any location. Unless your internet
access to medikbase.com is blocked, you can use Medikbase in any environment,
whether it is an office, a clinic or a hospital. By changing your Header and footer
options on your profile page, you can generate reports appropriate for the
environment you work in. Thus, your all patients' data are always in your archive
for later relations.
Can I use Medikbase with my secretary in my office with a single licence?
Answer is no. In order for your secretary to use Medikbase, you must purchase a new
license and assign your secretary as the user of this new license. In order to work
in this way, your secretary must first registers to the system as a trial user. You
must then send "license usage invitation code" to your secretary to be able to use
the license you purchased. Once your secretary enters this code on their profile,
he/she can see and change your patient's data.
Can Medikbase be used in a hospital or a clinic setting?
Yes. For such a use, an "executive doctor" first buys a license. He should then
purchase as many licenses as the number of doctors and secretaries he wants to
employ and assign these licenses to doctors and secretaries. "License usage
invitation code" should be sent to the doctors and secretaries to be employed by the
executive doctor so that they can use the licenses.
Do I have to invest to use Medikbase?
No. Medikbase is a web-based service, it does not require any investment or
installation. Works with licence based subscription method. You can log in to your
account from anywhere you have internet access by logging in with the username and
password you set when registering for Medikbase. You can also access your data from
mobile devices.
Do I need special training to use it?
Medikbase is designed so that any internet user can use it intuitively. It is easy
to use and its interface is simple. Nevertheless, you can also take advantage of the
How to' section we have prepared. You may need help especially in terms of different
data entry methods. Also, it is good to seek help in terms of using the plugins that
Medikbase has prepared for you. You can find help on these topics in our How to
section.
How can I get support if needed?
Our Customer Service team is at your side with unlimited free support during your
Medikbase use. You can contact us by sending an e-mail to support@medikbase.com, by
sending a message from within the application (from the profile page) or by calling

Can I use Medikbase without internet?
No. Medikbase is a web-based application. You must have internet to access your
Medikbase account. The data you enter in Medikbase are kept in the cloud and you can
access this data whenever and wherever you want via computer, tablet or smartphone.
Mobile use of Medikbase is also possible.
How are my requests evaluated by the Medikbase Team?
All the development demands you share are of great importance for us to develop
Medikbase. The requests you send to our support team are evaluated one by one by our
product team and taken into our plan if the development decision is taken. During
planning, prioritization is determined according to the demand intensity and the
number of users that the feature will affect. In cases where there is no development
plan related to your request, our support team informs you about the issue.
What are the subscription prices?
You can reach our current subscription prices on our web page or you can see it in
shopping section of your profile page.
How can I subscribe (to be a paid member)?
You can benefit from a 14-day free trial period by registering for Medikbase. If you
decide to subscribe during or after the trial period, you can subscribe by shopping
on your profile page and entering your credit card information. If you do not
subscribe, your free membership ends at the end of your trial period.
When will I be billed when I subscribe to Medikbase?
As Medikbase, since we are an electronic invoice user, we send your subscription
invoice to the account owner's e-mail address as an electronic invoice (e-invoice or
e-archive invoice). Your invoice will be sent to your e-mail address within 7 days
after your payment. You can find your electronic invoice in .pdf format in the
attachment of the e-mail we send you. You can print this .pdf document and use it
for your accounting.
If I subscribe while in the free trial period, will my credit card be charged immediately?
If you subscribe while you are in the free trial period, your credit card will be
withdrawn immediately, but the free time remaining from your trial period will be
added to your package.
Can I pay by bank Transfer?
No. Payments are made via iyzico by credit card.

Is Medikbase safe?
With Medikbase's hosting and technical infrastructure, we provide the highest level
of system security. While providing services in an environment where world-class
network, data and physical security conditions are provided, we evaluate our
policies and practices regarding security according to changing conditions and make
necessary updates regularly.
Can Medikbase staff access my account?
No. Our staff cannot access your account and the data you enter. In case of a
technical or systematic malfunction, authorized personnel reach your data regarding
the purpose of support upon the access permission you will give.
Where is my data stored?
The issue of data security and privacy is an issue that we emphasize as a web-based
company. We work with Türk telecom for data storage and backup, and security and
configuration services of servers. Turk telekom is a company that provides service
with the latest technology at the highest security standards. Your data is backed up
daily for possible technical problems and these backups are kept for 2 weeks. Since
your data is kept in a cloud-based environment, you can access your information
stored on the application through a different computer, tablet or smartphone in
cases of your computer being stolen, damaged, or crashed.
Can I back up my data?
The data you enter in Medikbase are stored on virtual servers of Türk Telekom and
backed up every day. If you want to back up your data yourself, you can export all
your data with plugin in excel format and save a copy of your data on your computer
or on an external hard disk.
